Frequently Asked Questions

What do I have to do if I want to make an appointment?

Call or send an e-mail to our colleague, who will arrange with you the earliest possible date of the appointment for the chosen therapy. At the same time, she will send you the forms and inform you of other details that we will need from you before your first visit.

I have a two-year-old child with suspected ASD, can you help me?

Yes. Children under 3 years of age with a positive result in the M-CHAT-R questionnaire are included in the Early Intervention O.T.A. within the Social Activation Service. You can order here.

I have a four-year-old child with ASD. Teachers in kindergarten don't know how to deal with him, what can I do about it?

Children over 3 years of age, who come to us for the first time, are booked for a single therapy during which our therapist will evaluate the child's skills and, together with the parents, propose the next course of action.

Does my child needs to have a diagnosis before making an appointment?

No. At C)T)A) we also work with children without a fixed diagnosis. If you suspect that your child's development is not going in the right direction and you have not yet been diagnosed by a specialist, you can make an appointment with us. The sooner you start working with your child, the better.

How long does it take to get our turn?

Waiting times vary depending on the services you order. We try to make an appointment with you as soon as possible. It usually takes several weeks. For services that have more limited capacity, this may take longer.

The organization in our city also offers O.T.A. So can we go there?

Unfortunately, there are many organizations that claim to provide O.T.A. on their website or promise it verbally to parents. We STRONGLY warn against misleading parents and ask parents to make sure they are not being deceived. Contact us and we will tell you if the given organization has been properly trained for providing O.T.A. and her therapists have completed several years of our training.

Is it possible to find a parking place near C)T)A)?

Unfortunately, we do not have our own parking places and parking at our branches in Prague is often problematic (as is the traffic situation in the center of Prague). We recommend parking in a more distant location and taking the metro to the Můstek station or the tram to the Národní třída stop.

I don't speak Czech, is that a problem?

Although we are not native speakers in English, most of our therapists are able to communicate with parents in English. We want parents to communicate with their child in their mother tongue.

Do I have to pay cash for the provided services?

No. Currently, payments for all paid services are made with an invoice, which we will send to you by e-mail.
